Three timers in one: set a countdown with an alarm, run a stopwatch with laps, or work in Pomodoro focus sessions. The current time shows in the browser tab so you can watch it from another window. Everything runs on your device; nothing is stored.

Will the timer keep accurate time in a background tab?

Yes. Instead of counting ticks — which browsers throttle in inactive tabs and which drift over long periods — the timer works out the time left from real timestamps every frame. So when you switch back to the tab, it shows the correct remaining time rather than a lagging one.

What is the Pomodoro technique?

It's a focus method: work in a set block (25 minutes by default), take a short break (5 minutes), and after four focus sessions take a longer break (15 minutes). The tool cycles through these phases automatically and counts how many focus sessions you've finished. You can change the lengths to suit you.

Will it make a sound or notify me when time's up?

When a countdown or Pomodoro phase ends, a short alarm plays. If you allow notifications when prompted, you'll also get a desktop alert — useful when the tab is in the background. Both are optional and everything still works if you decline.

Does the stopwatch support laps?

Yes. While the stopwatch runs, press Lap to record a split; each lap is timestamped to a tenth of a second and listed newest first. Reset clears the stopwatch and all recorded laps.
