Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

The short version: everything you type into a tool on everyday toolbox is processed entirely in your browser and is never sent to us or anyone else. The site has no accounts, no forms that submit data, and sets no cookies of its own. This page explains that in full, along with the small amount of technical data involved in serving any website.

What you enter into the tools

Every tool on this site — formatters, calculators, converters, generators — runs as JavaScript on your own device. The text, numbers, dates, tokens, and passwords you enter are never transmitted, logged, or stored by us. Once a tool’s page has loaded, it works even with your internet connection switched off. Closing the tab discards everything, with one convenience exception: a few tools (currently the Invoice Generator) save a draft of what you typed to your own browser’s local storage so a refresh doesn’t lose your work. That draft never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and the tool offers a “Clear draft” button that deletes it; clearing your browser data removes it too.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as your IP address and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not receive personal data from this process. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly how often. This kind of analytics does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track individual visitors across sites. We do not use analytics that builds profiles of you.

Advertising

The site currently displays no advertising. To keep the tools free, we plan to introduce ads served by Google AdSense in the future. When that happens, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where the law allows and you have consented; visitors in regions that require it (such as the EEA and UK) will be shown a consent choice first. You can read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. This policy will be updated when ads go live.

Cookies

everyday toolbox itself sets no cookies. There is no login, no tracking pixel, and no third-party embed on tool pages today. If future advertising introduces cookies, the section above and a consent prompt will cover it.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to external sites (for example, documentation or standards references). Their content and privacy practices are their own — this policy applies only to everyday toolbox.

Children

The site is a collection of general-purpose utilities, is not directed at children, and — since it collects nothing — holds no personal information about anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If how the site works changes (for example, when advertising is introduced), this page will be updated and the “last updated” date revised. Meaningful changes will be visible here — there is no mailing list to notify because we don’t have your email address.
