How to use / FAQ
How are work hours calculated?
For each day the tool takes the time from clock-in to clock-out, subtracts the unpaid break in minutes, and converts the result to decimal hours. A shift from 9:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute break is 7.5 hours. The weekly total is the sum of every day's paid hours.
Does it handle overnight shifts?
Yes. If the end time is earlier than the start time, the shift is assumed to cross midnight — so 22:00 to 06:00 is counted as 8 hours, not a negative number. Enter times in 24-hour form and the calculation takes care of the rest.
How is overtime figured?
Any hours beyond the weekly overtime threshold you set — 40 by default — are paid at 1.5× your hourly rate. The rest are paid at the regular rate. Your gross pay combines both, and the overtime portion is shown separately.
Is my timesheet stored anywhere?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing is uploaded or saved. Closing or refreshing the page clears the timesheet.
